		<description>Hi Ron, it was wood ash.  The potatoes turned out OK - I expected more but as it turned out the plot that I had at the gardens was very shady - in fact, there was shade until 2 PM.  So nothing grew very well but I did get a number of meals out of the potatoes.  I&#039;ve since moved plots, dug a new ditch, and planted potatoes as per the instructions - so far so good!  At my new plot, potatoes are sprouting all over the areas that I don&#039;t want them - so I agree that they are something else.</description>

Potatoes are something else. I&#039;m digging up potatoes from leftover peel in my compost.</description>
