I don’t believe I’ve ever seen quince but this photo is so delightful I wish I were more familiar with it. Probably not in this lifetime if I continue to live in the Desert Southwest, however!

What a beautiful photo! Is this the quince that you make jam from? Not a jam you can find in stores.

Helen, no, this isn’t the kind you make jam from – that is a tree with far less ornamental flowers. But isn’t it lovely how the flowers are the colour of the jam?
