Project: Canning Label Inspiration & CONTEST!

Update: the contest winner was Katherine from  Kittens Lost Her Mittens.  Congrats!

Do you make beautiful labels for your jams, jellies and pickles?  If so you could win a $20 Gift Certificate to one of the 200 CSN stores online.  CSN sells just about anything you can imagine, from dining room chairs to greenhouses so you’ll be sure to find something you can spend it on.

To enter, send me a photo or add one using the link tool below.  The winner of the gift certificate will be chosen at random from all photo entries received on or before December 15th, 2010.

Well, I don’t think that me writing on the lids with a Sharpie permanent marker would qualify for this contest. It will be interesting to see what others do though.

I’ve never made labels but I can in bulk so it would require even more work. Like Robin, I use a sharpie :-)

Robin & Dan – I’m sure that sharpie writing works just perfectly for what you need…but if you every get the inclination to try something different there are some great ideas out there that aren’t too difficult (and some that are delightfully extravagant).

I never make labels either, I don’t even use a sharpie, I rely on my eyes to tell me what’s inside.

Melanie – I’m impressed with you eyeballing skills. I would probably end up with pickled onions on my oatmeal.

Thanks for finding my post! What a wonderful contest idea. I can’t wait to see all of the entries! I’m excited to see what you do with your garden, too.
