Haha - Yes, I suppose I am a yellowist - but only in my front garden because I don't like the look with the reds I have. In early spring, I have plenty of yellow crocuses in the front and in the back I have black-eyed susan to compliment the squash flowers and yellow zukes. I also have a stunning yellow azalea that I planted in the side garden. So, I can appreciate the sunniness in different places!

My yellow crocuses, a lovely shade of butter yellow, won't be up until mid-April here in Minnesota if I'm lucky. I'll enjoy yours vicariously.
I can't believe how many yellowists there are, come on, how can you exclude such a cheerful color?!

Beautiful shot. And what a cheerful shade of yellow. That pic sure chases some of the winter blahs.

In general, yellow flowers are not allowed in my front garden beds as they clash with everything else. But since they are the first crocuses to show, and whatever does come up coordinates with the yellow in spring, I make an exception to my very hard-nosed rule :)
