Handmade Kitchen Gifts eBook Resources and Supplies

Welcome to the resources and supplies list for Sugar and Spice: Handmade Gifts from the Kitchen!Handmade Gifts from the Kitchen eBook (Supplies and Resources)

If you don’t yet have a copy of the book, please go here to see how fantastically gorgeous and fun it is.

Handmade gifts are a personal way to show that you care. They are also a ton of fun to make! If you are here to get a handle on your shopping list so you can start cooking, then let’s get to it! The supplies are listed by project in order of how they are found in the book. Text in orange are links you can click to take you straight to the shops. Some of the links go to affiliates which means that I get a small commission on each sale.

Labels and Tags

Many of the labels, tags, gift boxes, and bags are from Evermine Occasions where I collaborate as a blogger. I have written 120 projects for Evermine with different customized labels each time. To see the labels used in a specific project, click the title of the project below and it will take you there.

I have also created a number of free canning label designs in both regular and wide mouth sizes. For these, all you need is label paper and a printer.

See how to print and make labels here. Download and print the different designs from the links below:

Packaging

Paper boxes like the craft paper box on the cover are wonderful for gift giving. They store flat but assemble easily. Line them with a bit of parchment paper and you have instant gift wrapping.

Cellophane bags are very handy and I use them in many projects.

Frosted tin tie bags are used in a few projects, but you can also find opaque white or craft paper tin tie bags, and some even have windows!

Mason Jars

There are so many mason jars to choose from and you likely have a lot at home right now! Here are the ones that I like to use most of the time:

Chapter 1: Herbs & Spices

Chapter 2: Love in a Mason jar

Chapter 3: Sips

Chapter 4: Oven-Baked Goodness

Chapter 5: ‘Tis the Season

I hope you have a blast getting creative in the kitchen! I know your handmade gifts will be truly appreciated by those who receive them. Don’t forget to give a few gifts to yourself as well!
